WireWhy Pro terms

1. Who the contract is with

WireWhy is run by DevUnit.pl Mateusz Hinca, ul. Arcangela Corellego 17/12, 03-289 Warszawa, Polska, NIP 839-312-42-45, REGON 368565464 ("we"). You can reach us at wirewhysupport@gmail.com.

Pro is offered only to businesses: firms, companies, and sole traders who use it for their trade ("you"). By creating a workspace you confirm that you act for a business and may accept these terms for it. Pro is not offered to consumers.

2. Sole traders

If you are a natural person running a business, Polish law may give you some of a consumer’s protections when a contract with us does not have a professional character for you, judged mainly by the business activity you have registered (Articles 385⁵ and 556⁴–556⁵ of the Civil Code and Article 7aa of the Consumer Rights Act). Where those protections apply, nothing in these terms limits them; in particular, the limits in section 11 then apply only as far as the law allows.

3. What Pro is

Pro is an educational and planning aid for qualified electricians, and a quoting tool. You describe an installation (rooms, appliances, supply) or list small jobs; WireWhy proposes a distribution board (circuits, protection, cables, residual current devices), checks it with its simulation engine, counts the materials and the work, prices them from your price list, and makes a quote, its PDF, and a page your customer opens through a link. Pro includes the Basic plan.

4. What Pro is not, and your responsibility

WireWhy does not design, install, inspect, test, or certify electrical installations, and does not carry out or supervise electrical work. Full responsibility for the electrical work, for its design, execution, safety, and compliance, and for its consequences, lies with you as the professional who designs it, carries it out, or puts it into service.

Every proposal, size, check, and flag in Pro is a suggestion worked out from what you entered and from simplified assumptions (for example estimated cable lengths, demand factors, a default earth fault loop impedance, and ratings without grouping or ambient temperature corrections). It is not a design, a calculation report, a measurement record, or a certificate.

  • You remain responsible for the design and for checking it, for the installation, and for its compliance with the standards and rules that apply where you work, such as PN-HD 60364 and N SEP-E-002 practice in Poland, DIN VDE 0100 and DIN 18015 in Germany, NBR 5410 in Brazil, the network operator’s conditions, and local building rules.
  • You remain responsible for the measurements and the test report (protocol) after the work, and for holding the qualifications, registrations, and permits your work requires (for example a qualification certificate in Poland, registration with the network operator in Germany, or an ART in Brazil). We do not check them.
  • The planner’s reading of each country’s rules has not yet been reviewed by a qualified electrician in that country; every proposal says so. Example prices are examples, not market prices.

Flag, never block: Pro shows what it finds as flags and never stops you from saving a job or sending a quote. When you send a quote with open flags, you confirm them first; that is your professional decision, and the confirmation is kept with the version you sent.

5. Your quotes and your customers

The quotes, prices, and terms you send are yours. The contract for the work is between you and your customer: we are not a party to it, we do not act for you, and we do not check what you send. You are responsible for the content of each quote and its link, including prices and taxes, and the information the law asks you to give your customers (for a consumer, for example, the information before a contract and the right to withdraw from a contract made at a distance or away from your premises).

Your customer’s "Accept" records that someone with the link pressed it, and when. We do not check who they are; whether and when it makes a contract is between you and your customer.

Anyone who has a link can open it until it expires or you withdraw it. Send it only to the customer it is for, and withdraw it at once if it went to someone else. The customer’s page shows that it was prepared with WireWhy and links to the Privacy on quote pages notice.

6. Prices, trial, and payment

  • Pro costs 79 PLN a month or 790 PLN a year in Poland, €29 a month or €290 a year in Germany, and R$ 79 a month or R$ 790 a year in Brazil. Prices for Poland and Germany are before VAT, which is added at checkout. The prices on wirewhy.com/pro and at checkout are the ones that apply.
  • Founding offer (Poland): the first 100 firms to subscribe pay 49 PLN a month before VAT, fixed for 12 months from their first payment while the subscription runs without a break. After that the regular price applies; we remind you at least 30 days before. One founding offer per firm.
  • A Pro subscription is for one person, the account that created the workspace. Adding other people to a workspace is not offered yet.
  • Trial: 14 days, without payment details, once per account and per firm. Nothing is charged when it ends.
  • Without Pro (after the trial, or after a subscription ends) your workspace and its data stay. You can share up to 2 quotes a calendar month; their customer page says "Made with WireWhy".

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle sells you the subscription, issues the invoice, and collects the taxes, and Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel them with Manage subscription in the Account dialog; Pro then stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow the Refund policy.

We tell you of a new price at least 30 days before the renewal it applies to; you can cancel before then.

7. Acceptable use

Use Pro only for your firm’s own work and within the law. Enter your customers’ personal data only when you have a lawful basis for it, and do not enter more than the job needs (no health data or other special categories). Photograph what the work needs: avoid people, papers, and valuables where you can, and show the customer only what they should see. Do not share your sign-in, try to reach another firm’s data, overload or probe the service, copy WireWhy’s catalogue or example prices for another product, or use quotes or links to mislead anyone, for example by presenting WireWhy’s checks or example prices as a certificate or an independent valuation. We may suspend access after a warning, or at once where that is needed to stop harm.

Send messages through Pro (e-mail, SMS, reminders, answers) only to your own customers about the work they asked about, never advertising, and stop when a customer asks you to. Each message says it comes from your firm through WireWhy; a customer’s e-mail answer comes back to the job’s conversation in Pro (and, if you choose, as a copy to your e-mail). SMS cannot be answered by SMS, so give your customers another way to reach you.

8. Your data

Your workspace’s data (company details, price lists, tasks, jobs, quotes, files) remains yours. You allow us to store, copy, process, and show it as far as needed to run Pro for you. We use it only to provide Pro, keep it secure, and help you when you ask; we never sell it, never show your prices to another firm, and never use your customers’ data for our own purposes. We may use anonymous counts (for example how many quotes are sent) to improve Pro. Your customers’ personal data is processed under the Data processing agreement; our Privacy notice covers your own.

9. Availability

We work to keep Pro available, correct, and backed up, but we promise no particular availability and the service may pause for maintenance. Keep your own copy of what matters to you: each sent quote’s PDF can be downloaded from the job’s documents. We may change, add, or remove features; we do not remove a core feature of Pro (jobs, quotes, customer links) during a period you have paid for.

10. Export and deletion

You can download each sent quote’s PDF at any time. On request to wirewhysupport@gmail.com we send you a full copy of your workspace’s data in a machine-readable format (JSON) within 30 days.

You can delete a job at any time; that deletes its customer (when no other job has them), installation, board, quotes, links, and files. Once the workspace has no jobs, deleting your account deletes the workspace with it; you can also ask us at wirewhysupport@gmail.com to delete the whole workspace. Deleted data leaves the live systems at once, the backups within 7 days, and the technical logs within 90 days.

When Pro ends, your workspace is kept so that you can come back or export it. If an account has had neither Pro nor a sign-in for 12 months, we may delete its workspace after telling you by email at least 30 days before.

11. Liability

  • To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage arising from electrical work or from the use of Pro's results, in particular damage that results from a design, an installation, a measurement, or a document you made or approved, including where you relied on a proposal, a check, or a flag, or sent a quote with open flags; nor for the prices and terms you send.
  • We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, or indirect damage.
  • You will indemnify us against claims your customers or other third parties bring against us in connection with your electrical work or your quotes, including reasonable legal costs, unless the damage was caused by our intent or gross negligence.
  • Our total liability for all claims under the contract together is limited to the higher of the fees you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage and 500 PLN.
  • The statutory warranty for defects (rękojmia) is excluded as far as the law allows.
  • None of these limits applies to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, to harm to life or health, or where the law does not allow liability to be limited (see section 2). Liability towards data subjects under Article 82 GDPR is governed by the GDPR.

12. Ending the contract

You can cancel your subscription at any time and stop using Pro; the contract ends when the paid period ends and your workspace has been deleted. We can end the contract with 30 days’ notice by email, refunding the unused part of a period you paid for; or at once if you seriously breach these terms (for example unlawful use, an attack on the service, or another firm’s data) and, where a breach can be put right, you have not done so within 7 days of our warning. The Data processing agreement says what happens to your customers’ data at the end.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms and the data processing agreement for an important reason: a change in the law, a decision of an authority, a new or changed feature, security, or a change of our providers. We tell you by email and in the workspace at least 30 days before a change takes effect; if you do not agree, you can cancel before then, and if you paid for a year we refund the unused part. We record which version of these terms and of the agreement your workspace accepted, and when.

14. Law, courts, and language

These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes go to the common court competent for our registered address, unless mandatory law gives you another court. These terms are written in Polish and English; the German and Portuguese versions are translations. If the versions differ, the Polish version applies.

15. Contact and complaints

Write to wirewhysupport@gmail.com about anything in these terms, including complaints about Pro, describing the problem. We answer within 14 days. Complaints about a payment can also go to Paddle.
