On your phone, at the customer's

Describe the house. Send the quote.

Price the job on your phone, at the customer's: list the rooms or the small tasks, and WireWhy proposes the board, counts the materials, and prices them from your own list. Before you leave, the customer has the link and accepts.

  • Made for the phone: the quote before you leave
  • Rules of Poland, Germany, and Brazil
  • Your prices, your logo
Two phones: the electrician's with the quote and its total, and the customer's with the quote's page and the Accept button.

The whole quote on a phone

One take, a real job: from walking in to a quote the customer accepts on their own phone.

  • The house and its board, described in the room
  • The quote from your prices, rounded with a discount
  • Sent by e-mail before you leave; accepted on the customer's phone

How it works

Four steps from the first visit to a quote the customer can accept.

  1. Describe the house

Building, supply, and rooms by type: each brings the usual sockets, light points, and switches for your country, and you change any number. Add the hob, the heat pump, the EV charger.

Rooms in the installation form: a kitchen with six sockets, two light points, and the hob, oven, and dishwasher picked.
  2. Get the board

Circuits with breakers, cables, and RCDs, placed on the rails of the enclosure you fit, and checked by the simulator's engine: load per phase, voltage drop, the main fuse. Open it on the canvas to change anything.

The proposed board on its DIN rails: main switch, surge protector, five RCDs, and their breakers, with spare ways.
  3. Price it from your list

Materials and labour counted from the board and priced from your own list, with your margin and VAT. Change a quantity, remove a section, add a row: the quote keeps what you typed.

The quote: each item with its quantity counted from the board, its price, and its total.
  4. Send it before you leave

By e-mail, from the site: a page with your logo, the quote, the drawings, and the board itself, live. The customer switches an RCD off, sees what loses power, and accepts on the phone; you see it on the job.

The customer's phone: their board live with an RCD switched off, what lost power, and the Accept button.

Small jobs, without drawing a board

A dishwasher circuit, three sockets moved, two lamps added. Pick the tasks from your own list; each is a bundle of materials and labour, or your fixed price ("a point is €45"). The customer sees one line a task.

  • A new circuit is sized as on a board: breaker, cable, and RCD from the load and the length; what the board lacks is added, with the reason.
  • Old wiring without PE? Adding sockets warns, and offers an RCD or a new protective conductor as rows.
  • Fill it in on a phone at the customer's door.
Example
  • Add a socket to an existing circuit ×3€135
  • Move a socket ×2€90
  • New circuit for a dishwasher: B16, 3×2.5 mm², 12 m€240
  • Measurements and test report€120

Questions

Who is responsible for my customers' data?

You are the controller of your customers' names and addresses; WireWhy processes them for you under a data processing agreement (DPA) that is part of the Pro terms. Another firm never sees your jobs. You can export a job or delete it, and deleting the workspace deletes everything in it.

Which rules does it follow?

The rules of the country you work in: PN-HD 60364 in Poland, DIN VDE 0100 and DIN 18015 in Germany, NBR 5410 in Brazil. It sizes breakers and cables (Ib ≤ In ≤ Iz), checks the voltage drop and that a fault at the far end still trips the breaker at once, puts every circuit behind a 30 mA RCD, and lists what it assumed. It is a proposal for you to check: the design, the tests, and the signature stay yours.

Can I use my own prices?

Yes. You start with example prices for your country, marked "example" wherever they are used, and type your own as you go: devices, cable per metre, accessories, labour per point or by the hour, a fixed price per task. The margin on materials and the VAT are yours too.

What if my board is different?

Change it. Choose the enclosure you fit, or open the board on the canvas and move, add, or remove devices: the quote is counted from the board, so it follows. A quantity you typed by hand stays, and says so.

What happens after the trial?

Nothing is lost: your jobs, prices, and quotes stay in your account. Without Pro you can still share 2 quotes a month, with "Made with WireWhy" on the customer's page.

What happens when the beta ends?

Nothing is lost: your jobs, prices, and quotes stay in your account. We tell you at least 30 days before; you then choose Pro, or keep sharing 2 quotes a month with "Made with WireWhy" on the customer's page.

WireWhy Pro is a planning and quoting tool. The design, the work, and the tests remain the responsibility of the qualified electrician.
